Suitable for homes where the stairlift needs to travel around a 90° or 180° bend, it can also be used on spiral staircases. The track for the stairlift is mounted on stanchions, which are fixed to the stairs. The track is built to order following a survey; your track is optimised to give you the best travel possible whilst fitting snugly to your wall or banister regardless of configuration.

Straight and Curved Hinge Tracks |

The layout of a hallway sometimes means that the stairlift track must be positioned in front of a doorway thus causing an obstruction you need not worry as this is overcome by using a hinge track. The track can be folded upwards when the stairlift is not in use leaving access to the door.
